Dr. Tantiyatyanon (Dr. Tan)

Dr Felicitas Tantiyatyanon (Dr Tan) is the owner and operator of “Leo Veterinary Care”.  She named the practice after her beloved childhood Persian cat who always had the spirit of a lion.  Dr Tan was raised in Bangkok, Thailand.  She has lived in Arizona for 10 years, and received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Northern Arizona University.  She continued her studies in California where she received the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2009.  Since graduation she completed an internship in small animal emergency, surgery and internal medicine.  She has also provided quality veterinary care as a general practitioner in the Phoenix area.

Dr Tan has a strong interest in holistic veterinary medicine and is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.  She emphasizes on the integration of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine with modern western medicine.  She completed her training in small animal and equine acupuncture through the Chi Institute in Florida. Dr Tan believes that all creatures can benefit from acupuncture and integrative veterinary medicine, so please don't hesitate to bring in your exotic pets.

Dr Tan shares her home with three cats named Artemis, Saber, Lobo, and her Eclectus parrot Khinaree.  On her days off she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, outdoor activities, art and travel.  She is greatly looking forward to meeting you and your beloved pets.

Dr. Chen

Dr. Chen

From a young age, Dr. Chen knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and work to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. With this goal in mind, and to experience weather, she left sunny California to complete her undergraduate degree in Raleigh, North Carolina. Immediately following graduation, she moved back to the west coast to obtain her veterinary degree at Midwestern University. After graduation, Dr. Chen pursued a small animal rotating internship at a multi-specialty hospital in the Valley before working in private practice, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine. She has recently completed her acupuncture certification through Chi University to help provide the most rounded and balanced care for fur, feathered-, or scaly-kids. In her free time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with her family, training for triathlons, rock climbing, baking, and reading.
